Eight-week course for family caregivers of adult individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course is taught by trained family members. Current information on brain disorders, medications and side effects, problem solving, crisis preparation, communicating and finding appropriate supports and services. Registration and commitment to attend the 8 weeks is required.
This program is scheduled to be offered in the fall of 2021 (dependent on state social distancing guidelines). Call or email us to be put on a waiting list. Offered in English and Spanish.
Education program for parents, guardians and other adult family members who provide care for youth (age 22 or younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. Topics include brain biology and development, common diagnosis, treatment, crisis, and resources.
Basics is offered on-line/on-demand through Nami National and is a course in which you can complete at your own pace.

Education program for families, care givers and friends of military service members and veterans with mental health conditions. Program includes information on PTSD, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, substance use, managing a crisis, and federal, state, and local resources. Offered on-line quarterly through Nami National.

Family Support Groups/Parent Support Groups
Trained facilitators offering support groups for those 18 and older
who are supporting family members experiencing symptoms of a
mental health condition. Gain insight and support from the challenges
and successes of others facing similar experiences.

Connections Recovery Support Groups/LGBTQ+ Connections Support Groups
Trained facilitators living well in recovery who are offering peer-led support
groups for adults 18 and over recovering from a mental illness.
Talk with others to share coping strategies and insights, problems, and
concerns in an encouraging and supportive environment.

General Education Meeting
Featuring speakers on topics that educate our members and the community
about mental illness and related issues.

Two-hour class about adult mental illness. Curriculum includes stigma, mental health diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication, and crisis preparation. All invited to attend. Facilitators are trained through Nami National. Contact us for the next available class.
